So today we took the kids out to break in our new snowmobile. What a hoot! Once we got to the field, I though I would show off my mad skills....Ha! Having ridden a sled one other time, I thought I would show them all how great I am. I think it was about 30 seconds to 1 minute before I had the sled on it's side and stuck. What looked like about 6 inches of snow was actually about 4 foot. It took Bob, Ashton, and I to get it out.
Bob then took over, and after several runs, hit a jump and got tossed off. He was fine, and back up and running after Ashton went and helped him dig out. Man, we are earning our fun today!
The boys did a great job cruising around. Both seem to have a natural ability to ride. They at least make it look easy.
Once again I took the seat, and took a hard biff landing on my side with the sled on it's side also. Whew, that could have been bad, but thank goodness I am fine. We did run for the Advil bottle when arriving home though. I hope we will be okay tomorrow. I feel fine now though. It was lots of fun!
We took our sweet little puppy Gizmo with us. Lib was keeping him warm in the truck. He is so sweet. He is sporting his little camouflage winter coat. :)
